Kodokuhime
A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux
"I've always been able to see ghosts. It's not as big a deal as you'd think."
Developed in one month for the Battle Action Fantasy VN Jam 2023, Kodokuhime is a manga-inspired story about a girl with great spiritual sensitivity and a complete lack of awareness about everything else.
Himiko's been a wallflower her whole life- so plain and quiet that even the spirits around her never take an interest. But a chance encounter on her way to school might just be the thing to thrust her into the forefront of her very own story.
With black-and-white styling and comic-inspired presentation, Kodukuhime aims to emulate the feeling of a classic shonen manga- full of humor, action, and drama. Framed as the "first chapter" of what would go on to be a weekly series, it can be played through in a single 20-30 minute session.

Really enjoyed this little title! I also did a readalong stream of the entire game.
I really love the title for this one. Makes it sound a lot darker than the description seems, though.
art style is super cool
